POLICY GUIDANCE - THE EC IDENTIFIES AND EDUCATES OTHERS ON THE OPPORTUNITIES TO ADVANCE FUNDING AND PROGRAMMING FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLES AND CHARGING INFRASTRUCTURE AT THE FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL LEVELS. THESE POLICY OPTIONS ADDRESS TRANSPORTATION ELECTRIFICATION ACROSS A SPECTRUM OF APPLICATIONS INCLUDING LIGHT-, MEDIUM-, AND HEAVY-DUTY VEHICLES, FREIGHT, AND PORT ELECTRIFICATION. WE ALSO COORDINATE WITH OTHER PARTNERS AND ORGANIZATIONS TO UNDERSTAND THE OPPORTUNITIES AND PATHWAYS TO SCALE EV ADOPTION.
IMPLEMENTATION TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE - THE EC CONSULTS, PROVIDES GUIDANCE AND MAKES RECOMMENDATIONS TO PARTNERS WHO ARE NAVIGATING DECISIONS REGARDING EV AND CHARGING INVESTMENTS. WE PERFORM FLEET ASSESSMENTS, DEVELOP TRANSPORTATION ELECTRIFICATION ROADMAPS USING OUR DASHBOARD FOR RAPID VEHICLE ELECTRIFICATION, OR DRVE TOOL. WE ALSO ASSIST PARTNERS IN IDENTIFYING OPTIONS FOR FINANCING AND PROCUREMENT USING THE EV FUNDING FINDER AND THE CLIMATE MAYORS PURCHASING COLLABORATIVE, AN AGGREGATED PROCUREMENT PROGRAM.
EDUCATION - THE EC DEVELOPS MESSAGING AND RESOURCES TO INFORM THE GENERAL PUBLIC, INFLUENTIAL LEADERS AND KEY DECISION MAKERS ON THE NATIONAL AND ECONOMIC SECURITY, SOCIETAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL BENEFITS OF MASS SCALE TRANSPORTATION ELECTRIFICATION. WE DO THIS THROUGH WRITTEN REPORTS, FACTSHEETS, PRESENTATIONS, WEBINARS, DISCUSSION FORUMS, EARNED MEDIA, AND EVENTS.PROJECT AND PROGRAM MANAGEMENT - THE EC PROPOSES CONCEPTS, SECURES FUNDING, AND MANAGES TASKS AND DELIVERABLES FOR PROJECTS AND PROGRAMS RELATED TO EVS AND CHARGING INFRASTRUCTURE. STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT - THE EC HOSTS A NUMBER OF INDUSTRY OR PEER ENGAGEMENT FORUMS TO COLLABORATE AND ADVANCE TRANSPORTATION ELECTRIFICATION LEARNINGS.
