TO COORDINATE RESEARCH AND SERVICE ACTIVITIES ON THE CHESAPEAKE BAY AND THE GEOGRAPHICALLY CONTIGUOUS ENVIRONMENTAL REGION.

SUPPORT SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH AND COMMUNICATION THROUGH MANAGEMENT OF THE SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE TO THE EPA CHESAPEAKE BAY PROGRAM. ACTIVITIES PROVIDED SCIENTIFIC INPUT THAT WOULD NOT HAVE OTHERWISE BEEN POSSIBLE.


PROVIDE SUPPORT AND SERVICES FOR FISHERIES AND MODELING RESEARCH RELATED TO THE CHESAPEAKE BAY. ACTIVITIES INVOLVE RESEARCH, CREATING PARTNERSHIPS TO MAXIMIZE RESEARCH EFFORTS, AND WORKSHOPS TO PROVIDE FOR COMMUNICATION IN THE SCIENTIFIC FIELD. CRC AND THE CHESAPEAKE COMMUNITY MODELING PROGRAM CONVENED THE 2022 BIENNIAL SYMPOSIUM ON JUNE 6-8, 2022 FOR APPROXIMATELY 270 HYBRID ATTENDEES. THIS YEAR'S SYMPOSIUM WAS KNOWN AS THE CHESAPEAKE BAY RESTORATION, RESILIANCE, AND REFLECTION: PROGRESS AND FUTURE CHALLENGES.
