OUR MISSION IS TO CREATE AND SUSTAIN A GATHERING PLACE FOR CULTURAL EDUCATION AND FOR COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AND ACTIONS TO SUPPORT SOCIAL, CIVIC AND RECREATION EVENTS THAT PERPETUATE THE VALUE OF ALOHA AND THE BETTERMENT OF OUR COMMUNITY.

PROVIDE A COMMUNITY CENTER FOR MEETINGS, CLASSES AND ACTIVITIES FOR THE NORTH SHORE COMMUNITY OF KAUAI, HAWAII.


HOSTING 15-20 KEIKI AGES 5-13, DURING SUMMER AND WINTER PROGRAMS THAT INCLUDED HANDS-ON ART & CULTURAL AWARENESS PROJECTS, APPRECIATION OF DIVERSITY PROGRAMMING, LEARNING & PRACTICING HAWAIIAN VALUES & TRADITIONS, CULTURAL FIELD TRIPS AROUND THE ISLAND OF KAUAI, RECREATION FIELD TRIPS, AND DEMONSTRATION/PRESENTATION (HO`IKE) OF WHAT THEY LEARNED.


HALELE'A CULTURAL EXPLORATION PROGRAM IS A 5-WEEK SUMMER PROGRAM FOR KEIKI AGES 5-12 THAT FOCUSES ON TRADITIONAL HAWAIIAN VALUES AND VARIOUS ISLAND CULTURAL PRACTICES. OUR GOAL IS TO CREATE A FUN EXPERIENCE AS THEY LEARN THE ART OF HULA, MUSIC, CRAFTS, HEALTH, RECREATION, AND HAVE AWESOME EXCURSIONS ACROSS THE ISLAND ON LAND AND IN OUR BEAUTIFUL WATERS
