COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMING SUPPORTS PROJECTS IN THE KO'OLAU REGION THAT DIRECTLY RELATES AND CORRELATES TO OUR MISSION. PRIMARILY FOCUSING ON STEWARDSHIP AND SUPPORT FOR THE PRESERVATION OF NATURAL RESOURCES FOR A HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT AND THRIVING COMMUNITY.
NA PUA O KO'OLAU - SENIOR CITIZEN PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO IMPROVE ACCESS TO HEALTHY MEALS, INCREASE PARTICIPATION IN PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES, PROMOTE HEALTHY COGNITIVE FUNCTION, INCREASE SOCIAL AND CULTURAL CONNECTEDNESS FOR SENIORS AGES 50 AND UP.
YOUTH PROGRAMMING IS CULTURALLY BASED AND AIMS TO BUILD A SENSE OF PLACE, SENSE OF SELF AND GROWTH PERSONALLY AND ACADEMICALLY BY PROVIDING RESOURCES AND ACTIVITIES TO THE COMMUNITY AND PARTNERING SCHOOLS/ORGANIZATIONS.
