THE ORGANIZATION CERTIFIES FOSTER PARENTS TO CARE FOR BOYS AND GIRLS, 0-17 YEARS OF AGE WHO COME FROM ABUSIVE ENVIRONMENTS. THESE CHILDREN COME WITH SPECIAL NEEDS, PHYSICAL OR MILD MENTAL EMOTIONAL HANDICAPS.

FFA-OFFERS FOSTER CARE FOR ABUSED, NEGLECTED AND ABANDONED CHILDREN WHO ARE WARDS OF THE COURTS THROUGH SERVICES DELIVERED BY PRIVATE FAMILIES. THE FOSTER PARENTS ARE TRAINED, SUPERVISED AND SUPPORTED BY THE ORGANIZATION'S STAFF. THE CHILDREN ALSO RECEIVE ONGOING COUNSELING.
GROUP HOME-THE ORGANIZATION OPERATES ONE GROUP HOME WITHIN THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY CARING FOR CHILDREN FROM AGE TWELVE THROUGH SEVENTEEN WITH SUBSTANCE ABUSE HISTORIES, BEHAVIORAL DISORDERS AND FAMILY RELATED PROBLEMS. IN ADDITION, THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES PSYCHOLOGICAL TREATMENT FOR THESE CHILDREN. THE PRIMARY FOCUS OF TREATMENT IS ON THE IDENTIFICATION AND RESOLUTION OF THE CHILDREN'S UNDERLYING EMOTIONAL PROBLEMS. THE HOME IS STAFFED BY A COUNSELOR WHO HAS THE RESPONSIBILITY TO DEVELOP TREATMENT PLANS FOR EACH CHILD. ALSO, THE ORGANIZATION ACQUIRED THE ASSETS OF ANOTHER FOSTER CARE ORGANIZATION THAT INCLUDED CASH, GROUP HOME AND PROPERTY, AND A VEHICLE. THEREFORE; AT THE 12/31/2019 THE ORGANIZATION HAS TWO GROUP HOMES.
MENTAL HEALTH - THE ORGANIZATION HAS A MENTAL HEALTH CONTRACT WITHT THE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH AND ALL OF ITS RESIDENTIAL FACILITIES AND MENTAL HEALTH CLINIC ARE MEDI-CAL CERTIFIED, AND PROVIDE EPSDT MEDI-CAL FUNDED DIAGNOSTIC AND TREATMENT SERVICES TO ITS YOUTH.
