AS A CONSORTIUM OF SEVEN FEDERALLY RECOGNIZED TRIBES, TOIYABE INDIAN HEALTH PROJECT PROVIDES HEALTHCARE SERVICES TO BOTH INDIAN AND NON-INDIAN PATIENTS IN INYO AND MONO COUNTIES OF CALIFORNIA. NEARLY 8,239 PATIENTS WERE SEEN IN THE COMPANY'S BISHOP, LONE PINE AND COLEVILLE CLINICS. SERVICES INCLUDED MEDICAL, DENTAL, DIALYSIS, PREVENTIVE MEDICINE, BEHAVIORAL HEALTH, ELDER CARE, WIC, OPTICAL AND PUBLIC HEALTH. OF THIS AMOUNT, AT LEAST 3,024 WERE NATIVE AMERICAN PATIENTS. THE COMPANY EXPERIENCES SURGES IN NEW PATIENT INTEREST WHICH IT ATTRIBUTES TO A RESPECTED PROVIDER BASE AND QUALITY MEASURES AS WELL AS CHALLENGES EXPERIENCED BY PATIENTS AT OTHER LOCAL AREA CLINICS.
