CANCER CONTROL PROGRAM - DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF EVIDENCE-BASED INITIATIVES TO REDUCE THE RISK OF DEVELOPING CANCER AND INCREASE THE EARLY DETECTION FOR BREAST, CERVICAL, COLORECTAL, AND LUNG CANCERS IN NEVADA'S COMMUNITIES. THESE INITIATIVES PROVIDE COMMUNITY EDUCATION AND OUTREACH, AND THE PROVISION OF HEALTHCARE PROVIDER EDUCATION AND RESOURCES.
THRIVENV - CANCER SURVIVORSHIP PROGRAM THAT PROVIDES BOTH ON-LINE AND IN PERSON ACCESS TO CANCER SUPPORT AND RESOURCES, INCLUDING PATIENT AND CAREGIVER NAVIGATION SERVICES. PROGRAM ALSO SERVES AS A PAYOR OF LAST RESORT FOR CANCER SCREENING AND DIAGNOSTIC SERVICES FOR INDIGENT INDIVIDUALS.
YOUTH VAPING PREVENTION CAMPAIGN - RESEARCH, DEVELOPMENT, AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A STATEWIDE MEDIA CAMPAIGN TO DECREASE YOUTH INITIATION AND USE OF E-CIGARETTES. INCLUDES THE DEVELOPMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF PARENT MESSAGING AND A WEBSITE WITH RESOURCES TO SUPPORT TALKING WITH THEIR TEENS ABOUT VAPING.
