THE PROGRAM PROVIDES NEW SCHOOL CLOTHING TO DISADVANTAGED CHILDREN IN GRADES K-7. EACH CHILD RECEIVES TWO COMPLETE OUTFITS, PANTS OR SKIRTS, TOPS (UNIFORMS WHERE APPLICABLE), PLUS THREE PAIRS OF SOCKS AND UNDERWEAR, A GIFT CERTIFICATE FOR SHOE PURCHASE, A JACKET, AND A SWEATSHIRT. 2,000 STUDENTS WERE SERVED IN FISCAL YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2022.
ASSAULT SURVIVOR'S KIT, BASKETS FOR ADOPTED BABIES, AND HOMELESS SUPPORT.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAM IS A PHILANTHROPIC EFFORT TO ASSIST PEOPLE IN SAN MATEO COUNTY. THE COMMITTEE RESEARCHES AND EVALUATES COMMUNITY NEEDS. INCLUDED IN THE ACTIVITIES WERE SCHOLARSHIPS IN THREE COMMUNITY COLLEGES, SUPPLIES FOR VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, AND HOMELESS SUPPORT AT VILLA TERRACE AND MAPLE STREET SHELTER.
