IN 2021 THE FRIENDS WERE FORMALLY RECOGNIZED BY THE CITY OF WEST LINN FOR 40 YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY. THE HOUSE AND GROUNDS WERE HOST TO OVER 2,200 VISITORS WHO ATTENDED A VARIETY OF EVENTS AND TOURS OF THE PROPERTY, REPRESENTING A RETURN TO NORMAL AFTER NEARLY BEING SHUT DOWN FOR 18 MONTHS DUE TO COVID. IN 2021 THE GARDENS WERE REVITALIZED BY A GROUP OF VOLUNTEERS AND PLANS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A PAVILION WERE DRAWN BY VOLUNTEER ARCHITECTS LEADING TO WHAT THE ORGANIZATION HOPES WILL BE A SIGNIFICANT IMPROVEMENT TO THE USE OF THE GROUNDS IN FUTURE YEARS.
