THE PARTNERSHIP PROVIDED TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO 64 PUBLIC AND PRIVATE NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS ON THE CONSTRUCTION AND FINANCING OF 289 AFFORDABLE HOUSING DEVELOPMENTS THROUGHOUT CALIFORNIA IN 2021.WE ALSO LAUNCHED AN ONLINE TRAINING PROGRAM IN 2021 THAT SERVED TO INCREASE THE CAPACITY OF NEARLY 300 AFFORDABLE HOUSING PROFESSIONALS ACROSS CA.
THE PARTNERSHIP'S POLICY AND RESEARCH PROGRAM PROVIDED TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE,TRAINING, AND EDUCATION RELATED TO THE PRESERVATION AND PRODUCTION OF AFFORDABLEHOUSING IN CALIFORNIA. IN 2021, THESE EFFORTS FOCUSED ON DEVELOPING A 10-YEAR PLAN TO END HOMELESSNESS AND CLOSE THE AFFORDABLE HOUSING GAP CALLED ""CALIFORNIA'S ROADMAP HOME 2030"" AS WELL AS ADVOCATING FOR RESOURCES TO SUPPORT LOW-INCOME RENTERS STRUGGLING FINANCIALLY DURING THE PANDEMIC. DURING THIS TIME, WE ALSO EXPANDED AVAILABILITY AND SCOPE OF OUR ONLINE RESEARCH REPORTS AND ONLINE TOOLS.
THE SUSTAINABLE HOUSING PROGRAM PROVIDED TECHNICAL SUPPORT TO NONPROFIT HOUSING PROVIDERS TO HELP THEM AND THE LOW-INCOME RENTERS THEY SERVE ACCESS CLEAN ENERGY FUNDING, AND ADVOCATED FOR INCREASED RESOURCES TO REDUCE GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS IN AFFORDABLE HOUSING THROUGHOUT CALIFORNIA.
