DUE TO COVID RESTRICTIONS, NO IN-PERSON CONCERTS WERE HELD FROM JULY 1, 2020 - JUNE 30, 2021. THE JUNEAU SYMPHONY PROVIDED CONCERTS FOR PUBLIC RADIO PROGRAMS "SUNDAYS WITH THE SYMPHONY" EVERY SUNDAY. VIRTUAL CONCERTS WERE PRESENTED IN A FALL SEASON OF 3 CONCERTS AND A SPRING SEASON OF 3 CONCERTS. ONLINE VIEWS RANGED FROM 400 - 880 VIEWS PER CONCERT. A FALL MUSIC THEORY CLASS WAS HELD VIRTUALLY IN WHICH 17 STUDENTS PARTICIPATED."
THE JUNEAU STUDENT SYMPHONY IS A PLACE FOR STUDENT MUSICIANS OF ALL AGES TO IMPROVE THEIR MUSIC SKILLS AND LEARN THE BASICS OF PLAYING IN AN ORCHESTRA.
