EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES - YOUTH ORCHESTRA AND STRINGS PROGRAM, ENSEMBLE VISITS TO SCHOOLS AND PRE-CONCERT LECTURES. THE YAKIMA SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA ALSO DOES AN ANNUAL STUDENT CONCERT PLUS HIRES PROFESSIONAL MUSICIANS AS TEACHERS AND MENTORS FOR AN AFTER-SCHOOL ORCHESTRA-BASED ANTI-POVERTY SOCIAL PROGRAM. DUE TO COVID-19, SOME OF THESE EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES DID NOT OCCUR DURING THE FISCAL YEAR OF JULY 1, 2020 TO JUNE 30, 2021.
