THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES RESIDENTIAL CARE SERVICES FOR EMOTIONALLY DISTURBED CHILDREN AS A SHORT TERM RESIDENTIAL THERAPEUTIC PROGRAM. THIS INCLUDES TWENTY FOUR HOUR CHILDCARE AND SUPERVISION, SOCIAL WORK, PSYCHOLOGICAL AND PSYCHIATRIST TREATMENT TO ALL CHILDREN IN ADDITION TO SHELTER, FOOD, ACTIVITY, CLOTHING, AND FORMAL EDUCATION. THE GOAL OF PLAN-IT LIFE, INC. IS TO REUNITE THE CHILDREN WITH THEIR PARENTS OR EMANCIPATE THEM BACK TO THE SOCIETY. THE ORGANIZATION IS LICENSED BY THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF SOCICAL SERVICES AS AN STRTP, AND THE LICENSED CAPACITY AT THE END OF THE YEAR IS TWENTY-FOUR (24) CHILDREN.
THE ORGANIZATION WAS AWARDED A TWO-YEAR EXTENSION OF THEIR MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES CONTRACT WITH THE COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO UNDER THE CHILDRENS RESIDENTIAL INTENSIVE SERVICES (CHRIS) PROGRAM. THE CONTRACT IS TO PROVIDE EARLY PERIODIC SCREENING, DIAGNOSIS, AND TREATMENT (EPSDT) MENTAL HEALTH TREATMENT SERVICES TO ALL YOUTH IN THEIR CARE.
THE ORGANIZATION WAS AWARDED A MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES CONTRACT WITH THE COUNTY OF RIVERSIDE UNDER THE RIVERSIDE UNIVERSITY HEALTH SYSTEM BEHAVIORAL HEALTH (RUHS-BH).
