OVCF MISSION IS TO "IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE BY CONNECTING PEOPLE WHO CARE WITH CAUSES THAT MATTER." TO FULFILL THIS MISSION, WE MAKE GRANTS; WE CHAMPION PHILANTHROPY; AND WE CONVENE AND CONNECT PEOPLE AND ORGANIZATIONS, BUILDING PARTNERSHIPS FOR GREATER COMMUNITY IMPACT.

OVCF COORDINATES A COUNTYWIDE NONPROFIT ALLIANCE, PROVIDES LEADERSHIP AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES TO NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS. 1. PROVIDED 11 GRANTS TO LOCAL NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS TOTALING $11,737; SUPPORTING FOOD BANKS, HOUSING SUPPORT, YOUTH AND SENIOR SERVICES, ANIMAL WELFARE, RECREATIONAL PROGRAMS AND MORE. 2. ADMINISTERED SCHOLARSHIPS TOTALING $6,500 TO FOUR DIFFERENT SCHOOL DISTRICTS IN CLALLAM COUNTY. 3. CONTRACTED WITH WASHINGTON NONPROFITS TO PROVIDE ONLINE TRAINING AND NETWORKING EVENTS TO CLALLAM NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS. 4. PROVIDED LEGACY PLANNING SERVICES TO HELP DONORS ACHIEVE THEIR CHARITABLE GOALS.
