THROUGH OUR COMMUNITY GRANTS PROGRAM LAST YEAR, WE AWARDED 210 GRANTS TO 118 LOCAL NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS AND SCHOOL DISTRICTS IN 2020. WE WERE ABLE TO LEVERAGE DONOR ADVISED AND DONOR DESIGNATED FUNDS TO AWARD GRANT REQUESTS THAT RANGED BETWEEN $1,000 - $100,000. WE SUPPORTED ORGANIZATIONS IN 12 OUT OF THE 13 COMMUNITIES IN GRAYS HARBOR TO BETTER ACHIEVE THEIR MISSION(S). WE ALSO AWARDED 345 SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDENTS WHO RESIDE IN GRAYS HARBOR COUNTY OR GRADUATED FROM A GRAYS HARBOR COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL THROUGH OUR SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM. OUR SCHOLARSHIPS ARE RENEWABLE AT VARIABLE AMOUNTS FOR AN ADDITIONAL 3 YEARS TO SUPPORT UNDERGRADUATE AND VOCATIONAL STUDIES. IN 2020 WE PROVIDED OVER $850,000 IN EMERGENCY RELIEF RELATED TO THE PANDEMIC FOR CHILDCARE PROGRAMS, EMERGENCY AND FOOD ASSISTANCE, AND LOSS OF FUNDING REVENUE JUST TO NAME A FEW.
