GRANTMAKING THE SKAGIT COMMUNITY FOUNDATION SOLICITS GRANT REQUESTS FROM QUALIFIED 501(C)(3) ORGANIZATIONS SERVING SKAGIT COUNTY AND MAKES AWARDS ANNUALLY. ORGANIZATIONS THAT HAVE DESIGNATED ENDOWMENTS AT THE FOUNDATION RECEIVE AN ANNUAL GRANT. SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS ARE SELECTED EACH SPRING AND GRANTS ARE SENT TO THEIR RESPECTIVE COLLEGES ANNUALLY. DONOR ADVISED FUNDERS, FAMILY FOUNDATIONS AND BUSINESSES PARTICIPATE IN THE GRANTMAKING PROCESS BY COLLABORATING WITH THE FOUNDATION EACH YEAR.
