THE LEADERSHIP AND ORGANIZING PROGRAM ENCOURAGES LEADERSHIP AND SUPPORT AMONG LATINO DOMESTIC WORKERS.
THE EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM INCREASES THE EARNING POTENTIAL OF LATINO IMMIGRANT WORKERS BY ORGANIZING DAY LABORERS AND DOMESTIC WORKERS, DISPATCHING WORKERS TO JOBS AT FAIR WAGES, AND PROVIDING REFERRALS TO MORE PERMANENT JOBS.
THE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM PROVIDES WORKSHOPS ON JOB SAFETY AND WORKER RIGHTS AS WELL AS CLASSES ON COMPUTER AND FINANCIAL LITERACY, ESL, GREEN GARDENING, GREEN CLEANING, MOVING, HOME CARE, IMPROVING WORKPLACE SAFETY AND PROVIDING WORKERS WITH MARKETABLE SKILLS.
