PARTNER IN EMPLOYMENT (PIE) WORKS TO GUARANTEE THE LONG-TERM ECONOMIC STABILITY OF NEWLY ARRIVED REFUGEES AND IMMIGRANTS IN KING COUNTY BY PROVIDING TAILORED ASSISTANCE IN LANGUAGE ACQUISITION, HOUSING STABILIZATION, WORKFORCE ENTRY, AND JOB TRAINING IN HIGHER-WAGE INDUSTRIES.

PORT OF SEATTLE YOUTH OPPORTUNITY INITIATIVE - WE PROVIDED THREE DIFFERENT JOB SECTOR TRAININGS TO OVER 50 IMMIGRANT AND REFUGEE YOUTHS IN SOUTH KING COUNTY. WE PROVIDED A TOTAL OF $95,246 IN STIPENDS FOR YOUTHS TO EARN WHILE THEY GAIN CAREER CONNECTED LEARNINGS FOR FUTURE CAREERS.


HOMELESS PREVENTION - WE SERVED OVER 40 FAMILIES WHO WERE IN IMMINENT RISK OF HOMELESSNESS IN 2021 WITH INTENSIVE CASE MANAGEMENT AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO PREVENT EVICTION AMONG IMMIGRANT AND REFUGEE FAMILIES. ALL FAMILIES WERE ABLE TO REMAIN SUCCESSFULLY HOUSED.


REFUGEE YOUTH MENTORING PROGRAM - WE SERVED OVER 30 NEWLY-ARRIVED REFUGEE YOUTH WITH CASE MANAGEMENT, MENTORSHIP, JOB TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE.


IN GENERAL, THE ORGANIZATION SERVED HOUSEHOLDS AND INDIVIDUALS ACROSS ALL OUR PROGRAMS, INCLUDING ENGLISH CLASSES, CASE MANAGEMENT, MENTORING AND CAREER NAVIGATION, KNOW YOUR RIGHTS TRAINING, PROVIDED TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANCE, TRAINED INDIVIDUALS ON JOB READINESS AND LABOR LAW AND ASSISTED INDIVIDUALS WITH JOB PLACEMENTS.
