THE EASTERN WASHINGTON LEGISLATIVE TOUR EXPOSED LEGISLATORS FROM ALL OVER THE STATE OF WASHINGTON INCLUDING CLARKSTON AND PULLMAN, WASHINGTON. WE OPENED THEIR EYES TO THE UNIQUENESS OF OUR AREA IN AN EFFORT TO HELP THEM HAVE A BROADER UNDERSTANDING OF THEIR STATE AS A WHOLE AND CONSIDER THE IMPACT OF THEIR DECISIONS ON EASTERN WASHINGTON.
LEADERSHIP LC VALLEY IS IN ITS 7TH YEAR. WE HAD 27 PARTICIPANTS IN THIS 9-MONTH PROGRAM THAT EDUCATED OUR COMMUNITY LEADERS ABOUT PERSONAL LEADERSHIP STYLES, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, EDUCATIONS, MANUFACTURING, HEALTHCARE, AND ARTS & HISTORY OF THE LEWIS CLARK VALLEY.
THE AGRICULTURE BANQUET RECOGNIZES AND CELEBRATES THE AGRICULTURAL PRODUCERS OF OUR REGION WHO FEED THE WORLD AND WE GAVE FOUR SCHOLARSHIPS TO GRADUATING HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS WHO ARE PURSUING A DEGREE IN AGRICULTURE RELATED STUDIES.
ALL OTHER EVENTS INCLUDING CHRISTMAS PARADE, GOLF CHALLENGE, LUNCHEONS, CHAMBER AUCTION AND RAFFLES, AND WINEMAKER DINNER SERIES.
