THE COALITION FOR AMERICAN PRODUCTS IN RENEWABLE ENERGY (CAPRE) WAS FORMED TO SUPPORT AMERICAN MANUFACTURING IN RENEWABLE ENERGY PROJECTS SUCH AS SOLAR, WIND, AND ENERGY STORAGE. CAPRE BELIEVES THAT IT IS CRITICAL THAT OUR NATION EXPANDS ITS RENEWABLE ENERGY CAPACITY OVER THE NEXT DECADE. HOWEVER, THIS EXPANSION SHOULD INVOLVE NOT ONLY AN INCREASE IN INSTALLED ENERGY GENERATION INFRASTRUCTURE BUT ALSO A SUBSTANTIAL INCREASE IN MANUFACTURING CAPACITY AND MANUFACTURING JOBS FOR RENEWABLE ENERGY INFRASTRUCTURE IN THE SOLAR, WIND, AND ENERGY STORAGE SECTORS.
