THE SUSTAINABLE PFAS ACTION NETWORK (SPAN) IS A COALITION OF BUSINESSES DEDICATED TO THE SUSTAINABLE USE AND REGULATION OF PFAS.IT SUPPORTS THE DEVELOPMENT OF A COMPREHENSIVE FEDERAL APPROACH TO THE USE AND MANAGMENT OF PFAS SUBSTANCES, ENSURING PROTECTION OF HUMAN HEALTH AND THE ENVIROMENT, WHILE RECOGNIZING THE SOCIETAL AND ECONOMIC BENEFITS THAT MANY USES OF PFAS CHEMICALS PROVIDE.
CONDUCT PUBLIC EDUCATION PROGRAMS IN AN ATTEMPT TO DISSEMINATE INFORMATION REGARDING GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS REDUCTIONS. PROGRAMS CONSIST OF MEETINGS WITH DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY AND THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY AND OTHER INTERNATIONAL GROUPS, AND PREPARATION OF NEWSLETTERS.
