ELIZABETH RIVER PROJECT BEGAN CONSTRUCTION OF THE RYAN RESILIENCE LAB, A GLOBAL MODEL FOR URBAN COASTAL RESILENCE. A NEW LEARNING BARGE ON WHEELS WAS DEPLOYED TO REACH SCHOOL CHILDREN IN THEIR COMMUNITIES DURING COVID. HANDS-ON PROJECTS WERE CARRIED ON TO REDUCE POLLUTION AND RESTORE HABITATS WITH 6,500 RIVER STAR HOMES AND 162 RIVER STAR BUSINESSES. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO EXPANDED EDUCATION AND REVITALIZATION AT A 40-ACRE NATURE PARK WHILE ADVISING MANY PARTNERS ON POLLUTION AVOIDANCE.
