COMMUNITY ASSIST OF SOUTHERN ARIZONA - CONDUCTING EDUCATION, OUTREACH, HOME VISITS AND HEALTHY HOMES INTERVENTIONS IN LOW-INCOME HOUSING AND CONDUCTING COMMUNITY PARTICIPATORY RESEARCH. THE SERVICE AREA IS SOUTHERN ARIZONA. INSTALLED OVER 3,000 SMOKE AND CARBON MONOXIDE ALARMS SERVING OVER 6,000 INDIVIDUALS. CONDUCTED OVER 20 OUTREACH EVENTS TO OVER 3,000 COMMUNITY MEMBERS. CONDUCTED COMMUNITY RISK REDUCTION TRAINING THROUGHOUT SOUTHERN ARIZONA. REFERRED OVER 60 FAMILIES TO CHILDHOOD LEAD POISONING PREVENTION PROGRAMS. CONDUCTED A SOLAR ENERGY PILOT PROJECT WITH OVER 24 INDIVIDUALS.
