CONDUCTED VARIOUS RESEARCH PROJECTS SUBJECT TO ECOLOGICAL CHANGES, SPECIFICALLY IN THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST. PROJECTS INCLUDED STUDIES ON MARINE BIRDS, PLANKTON IN THE GULF OF ALASKA, AND ANALYSIS OF ECOSYSTEMS INFORMATION IN SUPPORT OF THE NORTHERN CALIFORNIA COASTAL AREA. PROJECTS FUNDED BY FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL GOVERNMENTS, AND CHARITABLE FOUNDATION GRANTS. ALL RESULTS OF THE INSTITUTE'S PROJECTS ARE HELD IN THE PUBLIC DOMAIN FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC.
