GREATER TUCSON LEADERSHIPS MISSION IS TO INSPIRE, DEVELOP, AND PROMOTE LEADERSHIP THAT IMPACTS THE GREATER TUCSON REGION.

Part 3 - Line 4a

OUR FLAGSHIP PROGRAM CENTERS AROUNG CLASSES, INCLUDING THE LEAD TUCSON PROGRAM, HAS BEEN A STAPLE IN THE TUCSON COMMUNITY FOR THE PAST 41 YEARS. THE PROGRAM OFFERS AN IMPACTFUL AND NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED LEADERSHIP TRAINING CURRICULUM PROVIDING PARTICIPANTS WITH IMMERSIVE FIELD EXPERIENCES ON A BREADTH OF LOCAL ISSUES. THE CLASS MEETS ONCE A MONTH, EMPHASIZING A PARTICULAR COMMUNITY ISSUE. THE CLASS MAY VISIT FLANDRAU SCIENCE CENTER AND A WATER TREATMENT PLANT ON ENVIRONMENT DAY, TOUR THE DOWNTOWN TUCSON THEATERS ON ARTS AND CULTURE DAY, OR SPEND TIME AT THE CITY COURTS DURING JUSTICE AND PUBLIC SAFETY DAY. EACH ISSUE DAY IS DESIGNED TO ENGAGE PARTICIPANTS WITH LOCAL POLITICAL, COMMUNITY, AND BUSINESS LEADERS, EMPOWERING PARTICIPANTS TAKE THEIR TRAINING AND LESSONS TO GOOD WORK, MAKING OUR COMMUNITY STRONGER, MORE VIBRANT, AND INNOVATIVE.
