THE NEW AMERICAN MAJORITY ACCELERATOR WAS AN 18 MONTH PROGRAM THAT PROVIDED IN-DEPTH SUPPORT TO LEADERS OF COLOR ORGANIZING THEIR COMMUNITIES TO SCALE THEIR WORK. THE COHORT MEMBERS RAN SOME OF THE MOST EFFECTIVE PROGRAMS MOBILIZING WOMEN, YOUNG PEOPLE, AND COMMUNITIES OF COLOR IN THE NATION.
NLA RUNS AN IN-DEPTH, CAPACITY-BUILDING ACCELERATOR PROGRAM AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FOR PROGRESSIVE ORGANIZATIONS INTEREST IN MAXIMIZING IMPACT AND POWER. THIS PROGRAM OVERSEES OUR LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT OF RESOURCES, TOOLS, AND SUPPORT AROUND STRATEGIC PLANNING, ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT, FINANCIAL, AND LEGAL COMPLIANCE ASSISTANCE FROM A DIVERSE POOL OF CONSULTANTS AND MENTORS ALL OF WHOM ARE EXPERIENCED IN WORKING WITH MULTIPLE LEGAL ENTITIES.
NLA PROVIDES HANDS-ON TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE INCLUDING ORGANIZATIONAL ASSESSMENT, REFERRALS TO CAREFULLY VETTED EXPERTS, CONNECTIONS TO OTHER IN THE FIELD, AND ACCESS TO TRAINING AND OTHER RESOURCES. WE OFFER THESE SERVICES IN 30 OR 60-MINUTE, ONE-ON-ONE APPOINTMENTS EACH WEEK. THIS YEAR NLA ALSO PARTNERED WITH ORGANIZATION IN ARIZONA, GEORGIA, AND WISCONSIN TO PROVIDE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO GROUPS AROUND STATE SPECIFIC SOLUTIONS, RESOURCES AND INFRASTRUCTURE TO MEET THE UNIQUE NEEDS OF MULTI ENTITY ORGANIZATIONS IN THOSE 3 STATES.
