PROVIDE SERVICES FOR THE SPECIALIZED NEEDS OF NAVAJO CITIZENS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES AND THEIR FAMILIES.

Part 3 - Line 4a

GROUP HOMES, WHICH PROVIDES HABILITATION SERVICES IN A RESIDENTIAL SETTING FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES. THE ASSOCIATION PROVIDES CONTINUOUS ASSISTANCE, CARE AND SUPERVISION FOR APPROXIMATELY THIRTY INDIVIDUALS WITH BEHAVIORAL, MEDICAL AND PHYSICAL CHALLENGES.


DAY CARE, WHICH PROVIDES ATTENDANT SERVICE CARE FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DELAYS. THIS PROGRAM ALLOWS APPROXIMATELY FORTY INDIVIDUALS TO REMAIN AT HOME OR PARTICIPATE IN COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES BY PROVIDING TRAINING IN PERSONAL CARE AND DAILY LIVING SKILLS.


RESPITE, WHICH PROVIDES ONE-ON-ONE COUNSELING TO OVER FORTY DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED INDIVIDUALS WITH HIGH NEEDS. THIS SERVICE CENTERS AROUND RECREATIONAL AND LEISURE ACTIVITIES.
