INCREASING POLITICAL ADVOCACY - THE NAYA ACTION FUND WORKS TO UPLIFT, SUPPORT, AND ENRICH THE LIVES OF THE AMERICAN INDIAN/ALASKA NATIVE COMMUNITY. THIS WORK IS DONE BY LOBBYING THE OREGON AND WASHINGTON STATE LEGISLATURES TO FUND PROGRAMS AND SERVICES THROUGHOUT EACH STATE, PASS MEANINGFUL POLICY CHANGES, AND TRAIN MEMBERS OF OUR COMMUNITY TO ADVOCATE FOR ISSUES THAT ARE IMPORTANT TO THEM.
BUILDING ELECTORAL POWER - THE NAYA ACTION FUND PROVIDES CANDIDATE ENDORSEMENTS FOR CANDIDATES RUNNING IN OREGON AND WASHINGTON. THE GOAL OF EACH ENDORSEMENT IS TO SUPPORT CANDIDATES WHO UPLIFT BIPOC COMMUNITIES, ALIGN IN VALUES, AND SHARE A VISION FOR EACH STATE.
