THE MISSION OF MLCOMMONS IS TO: (1) ADVANCE THE SCIENTIFIC FIELD OF MACHINE LEARNING AND INCREASE THE POSITIVE IMPACT OF MACHINE LEARNING AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE ON SOCIETY, (2) ENGAGE IN OR SPONSOR COLLABORATIVE RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT IN CONNECTION WITH THE MEASUREMENT AND VALIDATION OF MACHINE LEARNING, (3) PUBLISH THE RESULTS OF THE COLLABORATIVE RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS OF MLC AND PROVIDE OTHER RESOURCES TO THE SCIENTIFIC COMMUNITY AND THE PUBLIC AT LARGE WITH RESPECT TO MACHINE LEARNING, AND (4) TO ENGAGE IN FURTHER ACTIVITIES IN FURTHERANCE OF THE FOREGOING PURPOSES BY ALL OTHER LAWFUL MEANS.
