ANNUAL CONFERENCE - ORGANIZED AN ANNUAL CONFERENCE FOR MEMBERS TO LEARN THE MOST UP-TO-DATE INDUSTRY TOOL AND TRENDS AVAILABLE TO HELP RECRUIT AND RETAIN PHYSICIANS IN THEIR COMMUNITY. IT ALSO OFFERS INVALUABLE OPPORTUNITIES TO NETWORK WITH COLLEAGUES FROM ACROSS THE US AND CANADA. SEVERAL HUNDRED ATTENDEES ATTEND THE CONFERENCE. THE CONFERENCE INCLUDED A KEYNOTE SPEAKER AND SEVERAL DIFFERENT BREAKOUT SESSIONS.
FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM - THE FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM ENCOMPASSES KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS FROM MANY VARIED DISCIPLINES INDLUDING MEDICAL PRACTICE MANAGEMENT, HUMAN RESOURCES, LAW, MARKETING AND BUSINESS. THE MODULES AND EXAMS ARE DESIGNED TO SUPPLEMENT AND EXPAND KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS ACROSS A SPECTRUM OF TOPICS LEADING TO A DESIGNATION AS AN AAPPR FELLOW. THE FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM CONSISTS OF THREE MODULES: THE ASSOCIATE, DIPLOMAT, AND FELLOW.
JOURNAL - PUBLISHES THE JOURNAL OF THE AAPPR ON A SEMI-ANNUAL BASIS. EACH ISSUE OF ROAR IS SENT TO APPROXIMATELY 1,800 PEOPLE AND INCLUDES VALUABLE INFORMATION ON PHYSICIAN RECRUITMENT AND RETENTION TRENDS.
