IN 2023, MUSEUM OF CONTEMPORARY ART IN FLAGSTAFF MOCAF (MOCAF) ESTABLISHED BASELINE MOCAF RUN PROGRAMMING AND DIVERSIFIED MOCAF ASSISTED PROGRAMMING. BASELINE MOCAF RUN PROGRAMMING IS TO HOST TWO GROUP ART SHOWS SHOWCASING APPROXIMATELY 20 LOCAL ARTISTS EVERY SPRING AND FALL, THESE ARTISTS' MEDIUMS INCLUDE VISUAL ARTS, MUSICAL ARTS, AND PERFORMING ARTS. MOCAF ASSISTED PROGRAMMING WAS DECIDED UPON BY PRIORITIZING GROUPS WITH LIMITED RESOURCES IN THE COMMUNITY. MOCAF HOSTED THESE EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR AND TYPICALLY HOSTED AT LEAST 1 EVERY MONTH. EXAMPLES INCLUDE HOSTING CULINARY EXPLORATIONS, ALL AGE MUSIC SHOWS, A QUEER AND DRAG FRIENDLY HAUNTED HOUSE, A BOARD GAME RELEASE FOR AN INDIGENOUS ACTIVIST, A MEETING LOCATION FOR NON PROFITS, AND A SPACE FOR EMERGING ARTISTS TO SHOWCASE THEIR ART.
