THE EMERGE PROGRAM PROVIDES SUPPORT, RESOURCES, AND OPPORTUNITIES TO A BROAD SPECTRUM OF INDEPENDENT ARTISTS, COLLECTIVES, AND SMALL ARTS ORGANIZATIONS. OUR GOAL IS TO PROVIDE ARTISTS WITH THE NECESSARY TOOLS TO CREATE A SUSTAINABLE PRACTICE WHILE ALLOWING THEM TO REMAIN INDEPENDENT, DYNAMIC, AND RESPONSIVE TO THE EVER CHANGING SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CONTEXTS IN WHICH THEY LIVE AND WORK. EMERGE ENGAGES VISUAL ART, DANCE, MUSIC, LITERARY ARTS, THEATER, ARTS EDUCATION, AND COMMUNITY FESTIVALS ACROSS THE GREATER LOS ANGELES REGION.
