THE SPECIFIC PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO CONDUCT MISSION TRIPS TO IMPOVERISHED AREAS FOR ONE WEEK EACH YEAR. THE ORGANIZATION WILL PUT OUT HOME OWNER APPLICATIONS TO LOCAL CHARITIES AND CHURCHES THAT SERVE AN IMPOVERISHED AREA. THESE APPLICATIONS ARE INTENDED FOR HOMEOWNERS IN NEED OF MAJOR HOUSEHOLD REPAIRS WHERE THE APPLICANT CAN NOT AFFORD THOSE REPAIRS AND ARE NOT PHYSICALLY ABLE TO DO SO. TRIPS ARE TAKEN A FEW MONTHS BEFORE THE INTENDED MISSION TO VERIFY THE VALIDITY OF THE APPLICATIONS. BASED ON THE NUMBER OF TRIP ATTENDEES, THE ORGANIZATION WILL SELECT SUITED APPLICATIONS FOR THE WORK. PRIOR TO THE MISSION, TRIP MEETINGS FOR VOLUNTEER ATTENDEES ARE CALLED TO HELP PREPARE FOR THE MISSION WEEK.
