ALSO PROVIDES SERVICES THAT SUPPORT THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE WITH ACTIVITIES SUCH AS PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR MINORITY AND WOMEN BUSINESS ENTERPRISES, ADVANCING GEEN AND SUSTAINABLE BUILDING PRACTICES AND SUPPORTING JOB TRAINING EFFORTS.

PROVIDING APPRENTICE TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES FOR LOW AND MODERATE INCOME INDIVIDUALS, ESPECIALLY MINORITIES AND WOMEN, INTERESTED IN SECURING PERMANENT EMPLOYMENT IN THE CONSTRUCTION TRADE. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO RENOVATES AND BUILDS NEW PROPERTIES IN DISTRESSED PARTS OF OUR COMMUNITY IN ORDER TO REVITALIZE THE NEIGHBORHOODS IN WHICH THESE HOMES ARE LOCATED. THE PROPERTIES ARE PRIMARILY DEVELOPED FOR LOW AND MODERATE INCOME PEOPLE OR ARE LOCATED IN LOW AND MODERATE INCOME NEIGHBORHOODS. IN PERFORMING THESE CONSTRUCTION SERVICES, EXTRA EMPHASIS IS PLACED ON GREEN AND SUSTAINABLE BUILDING TECHNOLOGIES THAT ASSIST THE RESIDENTS LIVING IN THE PROPERTIES AND ARE KIND TO OUR ENVIRONMENT.
