PROVIDED EMERGENCY ASSITANCE TO INDIVIDUALS OR FAMILIES WHO NEEDED IT. ASSISTANCE INCLUDED HOUSING AND UTILITY ASSISTANCE WHEN INDIVIDUALS WERE SICK OR UNABLE TO WORK. WE ALSO HELPED WITH PHONE MINUTES SO A CLIENT COULD CONTACT HER DOCTOR OUT OF TOWN. WE PAID FOR THE HOSPITAL BILL FOR A CHILD WHOSE TEETH ALL NEEDED TO BE PULLED. WE HELPED WITH LIVING EXPENSES FOR A FAMILY WHEN THE FATHER HAD COLON CANCER. WE HELPED WITH IMMIGRATION FEES AND VEHICLE EXPENSES FOR A SINGLE MOTHER WHO IS PROVIDING FOR HER FIVE CHILDREN WITH A LOW-PAYING JOB.
