EMPLOYMENT SERVICES - IMAA ASSISTS REFUGEES AND IMMIGRANT JOB SEEKERS TO IDENTIFY AND REDUCE BARRIERS TO EMPLOYMENT. DURING FISCAL 2022, 413 ADULTS AND YOUTHS RECEIVED INTENSIVE CASE MANAGEMENT AND TRAINING SERVICES THAT ENHANCE THEIR LONG-TERM SELF-SUFFICIENCY, AND 169 INDIVIDUALS WERE PLACED IN PERMANENT FULL-TIME EMPLOYMENT.MENT.


IMAA BUILDS BRIDGES TO SAFETY AND HOPE BY PROVIDING CULTURALLY SENSITIVE BILINGUAL ADVOCACY, INFORMATION ABOUT VICTIM'S RIGHTS AND SYSTEM NAVIGATION TO VICTIMS OF GENERAL CRIME. VICTIM SERVICES: IMAA BUILDS BRIDGES TO SAFETY AND HOPE BY PROVIDING CULTURALLY SENSITIVE BILINGUAL ADVOCACY, INFORMATION ABOUT VICTIM'S RIGHTS AND SYSTEM NAVIGATION TO VICTIMS OF GENERAL CRIME.BETWEEN FY JUNE 2020-JULY 2021, 97 INDIVIDUALS OR VICTIMS OF CRIME FOUND SAFETY AND BEGAN TO REBUILD THEIR LIVES. 82 INDIVIDUALS OR FAMILIES RECEIVED SERVICES THROUGH THE LEGAL CLINIC AND RECEIVED FREE LEGAL CONSULTATION AND 24 INDIVIDUALS OR FAMILIES RECEIVED FREE IMMIGRATION CONSULTATION THROUGH THE IMMIGRATION CLINIC


IMAA REDUCES CULTURAL AND SOCIAL BARRIERS TO HEALTH CARE THROUGH THE WORK OF CERTIFIED COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKERS (CHW). IMAA'S CHW'S HELPED 1395 INDIVIDUALS OBTAIN OR RETAIN HEALTH INSURANCE, AND 1094 INDIVIDUALS LIVE HEALTHIER LIVES (1094 INDIVIDUALS REFERRED FOR SERVICES, 2291 VISITS PROVIDED FOR REFERRAL RECEIVED)


INTERPRETIVE AND TRANSLATION SERVICES - IMAA PROVIDED APPROXIMATELY 6752 HOURS OF INTERPRETATION AND TRANSLATION SERVICES TO HELP BRIDGE THE LANGUAGE BARRIER THAT EXISTS BETWEEN INDIVIDUALS WITH LIMITED ENGLISH PROFICIENCY AND THE COMMUNITY IN WHICH THEY LIVE.
