NORTH CAROLINIANS AGAINST GUN VIOLENCE ACTION FUND EDUCATED POLICYMAKERS ON THE IMPORTANCE OF GUN VIOLENCE PREVENTION STRATEGIES TO ENSURE OUR COMMUNITIES REMAIN SAFE FROM GUN VIOLENCE. WE HOSTED TRAINING FOR VOLUNTEERS TO BECOME ADVOCATES FOR INCREASED GUN VIOLENCE PREVENTION STRATEGIES, SHARED OPPORTUNITIES FOR VOLUNTEERS TO ADVOCATE FOR CHANGE AND CONNECT WITH THEIR POLICYMAKERS, AND HOSTED PHONE BANKS TO ALLOW VOLUNTEERS TO CONNECT WITH CONSTITUENTS ACROSS THE STATE TO SUPPORT GUN VIOLENCE PREVENTION CANDIDATES. WE ADVOCATED AGAINST THE REPEAL OF LIFE-SAVING POLICIES AND PREVENTION MEASURES AND FOR MORE ROBUST PROTECTIONS TO KEEP COMMUNITIES SAFE FROM GUN VIOLENCE.
