EDUCARE IS COMMITTED TO PROVIDING LEADERSHIP, EDUCATION, AND RECOVERY SUPPORT THAT PROMOTES A FAIR AND SENSIBLE APPROACH TO THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE PROCESS. THEY BELIEVE IN CREATING PROGRAMS AND POLICIES THAT SUPPORT SAFE COMMUNITIES WHILE FOCUSING ON JUSTICE FOR VICTIMS, REPARATION FOR THE COMMUNITY, AND ACCOUNTABILITY AND PERSONAL GROWTH FOR THE OFFENDERS.

2021 WAS A UNIQUE YEAR FOR EDUCARE WITH COVID-19. THE NON-PROFIT WAS ABLE TO EXPAND SERVICES INTO MARSHALL, HICKMAN, LEWIS AND PERRY COUNTIES, PROVIDING DIRECT ASSISTANCE TO 60-75 PEOPLE PER MONTH. THE DUI COURT HAD 35 ACTIVE PARTICIPANTS AND THE MENTAL HEALTH COURT HAD 15 PARTICIPANTS PER MONTH. FINALLY DUE TO COVID-19 AND AN INCREASE IN FEDERAL FUNDING,THE NON-PROFIT HAS BEEN ABLE TO EXPAND ITS SUBSTANCE ABUSE SERVICES INTO MORE RURAL AREAS. THEY EXPECT FOR SERVICES IN THIS AREA TO CONTINUE TO GROW THROUGOUT THE NEXT FISCAL YEAR.
