THE TURNING POINT, INC., LINCOLN COUNTY SELF-HELP CENTER ("THE TURNING POINT") OPERATES IN LINCOLN COUNTY, WYOMING AS A NONPROFIT CORPORATION THAT PROVIDES EMERGENCY SHELTER, CRISIS AND REFERRAL SERVICES FOR VICTIMS OF FAMILY VIOLENCE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT. DURING FYE 6/30/21, THE TURNING POINT PROVIDED 372 SHELTER NIGHTS FOR 25 WOMEN AND 5 CHILDREN. THEY ASSISTED 292 VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE OR SEXUAL ABUSE. THEY RECEIVED 19 REQUESTS FOR ASSISTANCE. THE CENTER PROVIDED 30 TRANSPORTS. THE TURNING POINT ALSO PROVIDES PUBLIC EDUCATION CONCERNING FAMILY VIOLENCE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT THROUGH PROGRAM PRESENTATIONS AND MATERIALS DISTRIBUTIONS. DURING FYE 6/30/21, THE TURNING POINT PRESENTED 4 PUBLIC EDUCATION PROGRAMS WITH 4,388 PEOPLE ATTENDING. OFFICES EXIST IN AFTON AND KEMMERER, WYOMING, AND THE SHELTER IS LOCATED IN KEMMERER, WYOMING.
