THE ORGANIZATION THAT RECEIVES REGULAR ALLOCATIONS FROM THE LEGAL AID FOUNDATION OF COLORADO ("LAF") IS COLORADO LEGAL SERVICES ("CLS"). THE PURPOSE OF CLS IS TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN PROVIDING CIVIL LEGAL AID AND EDUCATION TO LOW-INCOME PERSONS IN COLORADO, AND LAF SUPPORTS THIS PURPOSE BY RAISING FUNDS FOR CLS. TO INSURE THAT CLS MEETS AND SATISFIES LAF'S PURPOSE, LAF REQUESTS AND RECEIVES RELEVANT FINANCIAL AND STATISTICAL DATA FROM CLS. LAF ALSO VISITS WITH STAFF FROM CLS ON A REGULAR BASIS.LAF ALSO DISTRIBUTED A $5,000 GRANT TO CLS FOR THE PURPOSE OF PAYING A STIPEND FOR A FELLOWSHIP.
