THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN VICTIM LAW CENTER (RMVLC) IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION SERVICING VICTIMS OF CRIME AND VICTIM SERVICE PROVIDERS THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF COLORADO. THE MISSION OF RMVLC IS TO ELEVATE VICTIMS' VOICES, CHAMPION VICTIMS' RIGHTS, AND TRANSFORM THE SYSTEMS IMPACTING THEM. IN 2021, RMVLC PROVIDED FREE LEGAL SERVICES TO 2,131 VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, SEXUAL ASSAULT, ASSAULT, HOMICIDE, AND OTHER VIOLENT CRIMES IN COLORADO. SERVICES ARE PROVIDED THROUGH THREE PROGRAMS INCLUDING THE VICTIM RIGHTS LEGAL SERVICES PROGRAM, THE LEGAL INFORMATION NETWORK OF COLORADO (LINC) PROGRAM, AND TITLE IX LEGAL SERVICES PROGRAM. THROUGH THESE PROGRAMS, RMVLC PROVIDES DIRECT LEGAL REPRESENTATION, LEGAL INFORMATION, REFERRALS, ADVOCACY, AND TRAINING.
