THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN VICTIM LAW CENTER (RMVLC) IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION PROVIDING FREE LEGAL SERVICES TO VICTIMS OF CRIME AND TO VICTIM SERVICE PROVIDERS THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF COLORADO. THE MISSION OF RMVLC IS TO ELEVATE VICTIMS' VOICES, CHAMPION VICTIMS' RIGHTS, AND TRANSFORM THE SYSTEMS IMPACTING THEM. IN 2023, RMVLC PROVIDED FREE LEGAL SERVICES TO 2,435 VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, SEXUAL ASSAULT, ASSAULT, HOMICIDE, AND OTHER VIOLENT CRIMES IN COLORADO. RMVLC'S SERVICES INCLUDED DIRECT LEGAL REPRESENTATION OF CRIME VICTIMS, LEGAL INFORMATION, BRIEF CONSULTATIONS, REFERRALS, ADVOCACY, AND TRAINING.
