BEST DEFENSE FOUNDATION HELD A TRANSITION PROGRAM TO ASSIST RECENTLY RETIRED MILITARY VETERANS TRANSITIONING TO CIVILIAN LIFE. BDF HAD NUMEROUS HONOR WALKS IN THE COMMUNITY, HELD ZOOM CALLS WITH KIDS ENABLING THEM TO HAVE EDUCATIONAL TIME WITH VETERANS AND LEARN ABOUT OUR COUNTRYS MILITARY HISTORY FIRST HAND. THERE WAS A PROGRAM TO BERLIN, GERMANY WHICH BROUGHT 7 WWII VETERANS BACK WHICH INCLUDED MANY ACTIVITIES SUCH AS COMMUNITY BUILDING, EDUCATIONAL AND VISITING ACTIVE MILITARY. BEST DEFENSE FOUNDATION BROUGHT 63 WWII VETERANS BACK TO HAWAII FOR THE 80TH COMMEMORATION OF PEARL HARBOR. IT WAS A WEEK LONG PROGRAM THAT INCLUDED MANY ACTIVITIES AND MARKED A VERY IMPORTANT TIME IN OUR COUNTRYS HISTORY. THERE WERE ALSO MANY OTHER EVENTS INCLUDING: IWO JIMA AND D-DAY HONOR WALKSVETERAN PODCASTSTHROUGH MY EYES DOCUMENTARIESUSS MIDWAY VISITSNFL GAME HONORS
