PROVIDE HYPERBARIC OXYGEN THERAPY TO AZ MILITARY VETERANS SUFFERING FROM COMBAT TBI AND PTSD.

HEALING ARIZONA VETERANS (HAV) SPONSORED HYPERBARIC OXYGEN (HBOT) TREATMENTS AND ADJUNCTIVE THERAPIES FOR 71 MILITARY VETERANS SUFFERING FROM COMBAT RELATED TBI, PTSD AND EXPOSURE TO BURN PIT TOXINS. EACH VETERAN WAS INITIALLY EVALUATED FOR TREATMENT BASED ON THE EXTENT OF THEIR BRAIN INJURY AND EXPOSURE TO BURN PIT TOXINS FROM OPEN AIR COMBUSTION OF MILITARY WASTE. INDIVIDUAL TREATMENT PLANS WERE PRESCRIBED FOR EACH VETERAN. IN 2021, HAV PAID FOR 2,749 HBOT SESSIONS. THE ADJUNCTIVE THERAPIES INCLUDED IV THERAPY, NUTRITIONAL SUPPLEMENTS AND INFRARED SAUNA.
