AFTER HOLDING THE RODEO FOR 26 YEARS THIS ANNUAL EVENT WAS TERMINATED IN THE FISCAL YEAR 2019-2020. THE LAST RODEO WAS HELD AUGUST 25 AND 26 2018. THE ELKS YOUTH RODEO WAS COMPLETELY LIQUIDATED. DONATIONS RECEIVED IN ADVANCE WERE RETURNED TO SPONSORS. A FEW OUTSTANDING CHECKS FROM THE AUGUST 2018 RODEO CLEARED THE BANK IN 2019. SUPPLIES AND TOOLS THAT WERE USUABLE FOR THE 4-H COUNTY FAIR WERE DONATED TO THE SHERIDAN COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS ASSOCIATION ON APRIL 26, 2019. REMAINING SUPPLIES/SMALL TOOLS WERE SOLD AND THE BALANCE IN THE BANK ACCOUNT WAS DONATED TO THE SHERIDAN COUNTY 4-H COUNCIL.
