THE FOUNDATION ADOPTED OUT 1,087 ANIMALS IN 2022 AND RETURNED 102 ANIMALS TO THEIR OWNERS 2022.
THE FOUNDATION AWARDED $500,000 TO LEECH LAKE LEGACY TO ACTIVELY COLLABORATE IN THEIR JOINT ANIMAL WELFARE WORK BY PROVIDING SUPPORT TO MAKE IMPROVEMENTS TO EXISITING AREA ANIMAL SHELTER FACILITIES. LEECH LAKE LEGACY IS A 501(C)(3) PUBLIC CHARITY FOCUSED ON RESCUING ANIMALS ON THE LEECH LAKE RESERVATION. THE BABINSKI FOUNDATION IS ACTIVELY INVOLVED IN THE JOINT EFFORTS AND DECISIONS REGARDING THE USE OF THE FUNDS TO FURTHER THEIR CHARITABLE PURPOSE OF ANIMAL WELFARE.
THE FOUNDATION RESCUED AND PROVIDED MEDICAL CARE AND SHELTER TO 1,312 ANIMALS IN 2022.
THE FOUNDATION ACQUIRED A DYNAMAX LSATA 5 RV TO BE USED FOR ADOPTION EVENTS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS. THE RV WILL GIVE EMPLOYEES A MOBILE OFFICE AREA AND GIVE THEM A PLACE TO STAY WHILE AT THE EVENTS. THE VEHICLE WILL ALSO BE USED TO HELP TRANSFER ANIMALS OVER LONG-DISTANCE AS PART OF OUR OUTREACH TO OUT-OF-STATE RESCUES.
