PROVIDE SOCIAL SERVICES TO LOW INCOME FAMILIES TO PROVIDE THEM WITH A BETTER QUALITY OF LIFE.

CHILD CARE FOOD PROGRAM - PROVIDES CASH REIMBURSEMENTS FOR FOOD AND CHILD CARE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO INDIVIDUALS CARING FOR CHILDREN IN THEIR HOMES.


COMMUNITY SERVICES BLOCK GRANT - THE AGENCY UTILIZES THE GRANT FUNDS TO PROVIDE A VARIETY OF COMMUNITY SOCIAL SERVICES. PROGRAMS CURRENTLY FUNDED THROUGH THIS GRANT INCLUDES (1) KIDS CAN ENTREPENEURSHIP PROGRAM, (2) COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMS,(3) FAMILY EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMS AND (4) FAMILY SUPPORT PROGRAMS.


OTHER OUTREACH PROGRAMS LIKE THE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM ALLOWS THE SELF-EMPLOYED TO UNDERSTAND AND EFFECTVELY IMPLEMENT THE MANY AREAS OF RUNNING A SMALL BUSINESS. THE IDA PROGRAM OFFERS CLIENTS FINANCIAL ACCOUNTS FOR EDUCATION, BUSINESS OR HOME WITH A 4-TO-1 MATCH ON SAVINGS AFTER COMPLETION OF THE PROGRAM. WORK WITH HIGH-RISK FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN AGES 0-5 TO ENSURE THEY ARE DEVELOPING ACCORDING TO AGE APPROPRIATENESS. THE PROGRAM HAS TEN FULL TIME EMPLOYEES THAT VISIT HOMES TO ENSURE CHILDREN ARE DEVELOPING APPROPRIATELY. THE FOCUS IS ON PREVENTION OF CHILD ABUSE AND NEGLECT. MANAGE TRAININGS REACHING 35 LICENSED CHILDCARE CENTERS. ANOTHER OUTREACH PROGRAM OFFERS YOUTH AND ADULT LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT.
