THE GREATER LONGVIEW UNITED WAY DISBURSES FUNDS TO HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICE AGENCIES IN THE GREATER LONGVIEW AREA. ALL AGENCIES DETERMINE THEIR OWN BUDGETS AND MONITOR THEIR OWN EXPENSES. SEE ATTACHED LIST OF AGENCIES SERVED. THE GLUW ALSO FUNDS AND OPERATES THE INFOLINE OF GREGG COUNTY, FAMILYWIZE DISCOUNT PRESCRIPTION DRUG PROGRAM, THE VOLUNTEER INCOME TAX ASSISTANCE PROGRAM, WE ARE DEDICATED TO IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF LIFE IN OUR COMMUNITY.

THE GREATER LONGVIEW UNITED WAY, INC. IS OPERATED FOR THE CHARITABLE PURPOSE OF SECURING AND DISBURSING FUNDS TO HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES AGENCIES IN THE GREATER LONGVIEW, TEXAS AREA. ALL FUNDS ARE DISBURSED DIRECTLY TO 501(C)(3) AGENCIES WHICH DETERMINE THEIR OWN BUDGETS AND MONITOR THEIR OWN EXPENSES. SEE ATTACHED LIST OF AGENCIES SERVED.


VOLUNTEER INCOME TAX ASSISTANCE (VITA) PROGRAM PROVIDES FREE FEDERAL INCOME TAX PREPARATION FOR LOW TO MODERATE INCOME LEVEL PERSONS IN THE GREATER LONGVIEW AREA. THE VITA PROGRAM WAS DISCONTINUED DURING THE 2022-2023 FISCAL YEAR.
