THE YWCA PROVIDES COUNSELING TO WOMEN WHO ARE VICTIMS OF CRIME, SPECIFICALLY WOMEN EXPERIENCING TRAUMA AND OLDER WOMEN (OVER 65). THESE SERVICES ARE OFFERED FREE OF CHARGE AND ARE FUNDED BY CRIME VICTIM ASSISTANCE FUNDS.
THE LEAD PROGRAM IS A LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM THAT WORKS WITH TEEN GIRLS IN A VARIETY OF LOCATIONS INCLUDING SCHOOLS, COMMUNITY CENTERS, HUMAN SERVICES PROGRAMS AND PUBLIC LIBRARIES. SOME OF THE GOALS OF THE PROGRAM ARE LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT, HEALTHY BEHAVIORS, COMMUNICATION SKILLS, AND CAREER PLANNING.
OUR RACIAL JUSTICE PROGRAM IS DEDICATED TO ELIMINATING RACISM.
