HEALTHY LIVING - THE Y IS A LEADING VOICE ON HEALTH AND WELL-BEING. WE BRING FAMILIES CLOSER TOGETHER, ENCOURAGE GOOD HEALTH, AND FOSTER CONNECTIONS THROUGH HEALTHY LIVING IN SPIRIT, MIND, AND BODY. SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY - OUR YMCA BELIEVES IN GIVING BACK AND SUPPORTING OUR NEIGHBORS. WE HAVE BEEN LISTENING AND RESPONDING TO OUR COMMUNITY'S MOST CRITICAL SOCIAL NEEDS FOR OVER 148 YEARS. Y PROGRAMS SUCH AS OUR MILITARY OUTREACH INITIATIVE, HAVEN FOR HOPE PRESCHOOL FOR HOMELESS FAMILIES, AND TEENAGE LIFESKILLS PROGRAMS ARE EXAMPLES OF HOW WE DELIVER TRAINING, RESOURCES, AND SUPPORT THAT HELPS EFFECT CHANGE, BRIDGE GAPS, AND OVERCOME OBSTACLES. WE MOTIVATE MEMBERS OF OUR COMMUNITY TO GIVE BACK TO THEIR COMMUNITY THROUGH VOLUNTEERISM AND PHILANTHROPIC GIVING. IN 2023, WE ENGAGED VOLUNTEERS IN OUR PROGRAMS AND DONORS TO OUR ANNUAL CAMPAIGN TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR THOSE WHO OTHERWISE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN OUR PROGRAMS DUE TO ECONOMIC CONSTRAINTS.
