IN CONJUCTION WITH THE FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS AND MIAMI-DADE COUNTY'S ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OFFICES, ASSIST SMALL/WOMEN OWNED/MINORITY SMALL BUSINESSES WITH BUSINESS TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE FOR THE PURPOSE OF CREATION AND RETENTION OF JOBS FOR LOW AND MODERATE INCOME INDIVIDUALS IN MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL.
MICRO-ENTERPRISE PROGRAM: UNDER A CONTRACT WITH THE CITY OF MIAMI, DYNAMIC CDC OFFERED BUSINESS TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO 10 QUALIFYING BUSINESS IN LOW BUSINESS COMMUNITIES. THESE SERVICES INCLUDED UPDATING PERMITS AND LOCAL BUSINESS TAX, REFERRALS FOR INSURANCE, UPDATING STATE AND REGISTRATIONS, ETC.
HOME REPAIR PROGRAM: UNDER A CONTRACT WITH THE CITY OF MIAMI/LIBERTY CITY TRUST, DYNAMIC CDC CONDUCTED A HOME REPAIR PROGRAM AIMED TO HELP SENIOR HOMEOWNERS IN THE WYNWOOD NEIGHBORHOOD OF MIAMI REPAIR AND MANTAIN THEIR HOMES. SERVICES SUCH AS PAINTING, FENCING, ROOFING, AND PEST CONTROL WERE OFFERED- FREE OF COST- TO QUALIFYING HOMEOWNERS. DYNAMIC CDC HIRED THE CONTRACTORS AND WORKMEN AND INSPECTED THE WORK FOR QUALITY.
DONATION TO THE DOROTHY QUINTANA SENIOR ARTS PROGRAM WHICH PROVIDES INSTRUCTION IN ARTS AND CRAFTS, CELEBRATION OF HOLIDAYS AND OTHER SPECIAL EVENTS, LECTURES ON ISSUES OF IMPORTANCE TO SENIORS, ABD HEALTHY LUNCH TWICE A WEEK TO SENIORS LIVING ON FIXED INCOMES IN THE WYNWOOD NEIGHBORHOOD OF MIAMI. THIS PROGRAM IS HELD AT WYNWOOD'S ROBERTO CLEMENTE PARK AND MANAGED BY DYNAMIC CDC.
